(26,291 posts)They are about the ONLY thing that appeals to me. Easy to make. Easy to eat. I toss in some cheese, mushrooms and what ever else sounds good. I could eat them 3 meals a day, if I actually ATE 3 meals a day, but I restrain myself.

(182,883 posts)I had lunch its the head of procurement at the White House a few years ago. He started cutting the grass during the LBJ admin. He said the menu is set and the First Lady sees it about 4:30 or 5:00. If she wants something different then thats what it will be. From time to time they make changes but generally not. He said that Nancy loved lambs liver and every once in a while she want it. He or someone would jump in a car and go to wherever they knew had what they wanted. The food could never leave his possession until he got back to the kitchen.
