Al Capone was a criminal of note. He is used as an example of criminality very often, without any reference to his Italian heritage. That's what happened in the opening post of this thread. No reference to Italians was made at all - just a reference to one of the most famous criminals of all time.

So, by all means post your link. I don't mind. The poster who started this thread, however, did not slur Italians in any way. He used Al Capone as an example of a notorious criminal, which he was.

Furthermore, if Italians were considered white, why did Congress pass laws forbidding their immigrant. Why were they put in interment camps in WWII. Even Joe DiMaggio’s parents. Italians were not considered white in this country.

I would prefer to see preemptive ads that paint Trump as the habitual liar he is.

Example:

"Donald Trump lied to you about healthcare. Here's proof:" (follow with a few simple facts......), then....

"He's also lying to you about Joe Biden." (follow with a few simple facts......)

Most Americans hate liars and that's a key way to get people's attention and learn to totally distrust Trump.
