The man who called for "Sam's Club Republicanism" has just become Wall Street's top lobbyist.

Ezra Klein ?@ezraklein
Romney's national co-chair is stepping down to be the head lobbyist for the financial services industry. He couldn't have waited six weeks?

in his unbridled opportunism. Seeing S.S. Romney taking on water, he's jumped ship so he could go on to bigger, better things - a juicier host, you might say. And Tim was never one to let suggestions of hypocrisy stand in his way.

Is Rmoney so confident he's going to win that he is letting Pawlenty take over the top bank lobbying job so as to get the ducks in a row to loot the American People? Or am I being too tin-foily.

they want to have as much influence as they can in the next administration but with Romney's chances fading they are moving some resources into just plain old lobbying. eg. they, including Pawlenty, are hedging or giving up on a Romney admin.

But I believe this is just another self-serving repub move. Surely he could have waited 6 weeks before accepting this job. If he truly meant no harm to his old pal Mitt, he wouldn't contribute thusly to the demise of what's left of the campaign.

The earliest reference we have to unusual animal behavior prior to a significant earthquake is from Greece in 373 BC. Rats, weasels, snakes, and centipedes reportedly left their homes and headed for safety several days before a destructive earthquake. Anecdotal evidence abounds of animals, fish, birds, reptiles, and insects exhibiting strange behavior anywhere from weeks to seconds before an earthquake
