People who avoid masks for appearances sake or to send a message mingle together in places like the House of Representatives. There is a real risk that they will infect each other en masse before too long. I hope our Democratic House reps are following good practice and avoiding non-masked Republicans like the plague they represent.

It may not be long before a hella bunch of GOOPer House Members are sidelined by their own positive COVID tests. Senators, too. Let them infect each other, but Democrats should carefully avoid being near un-masked colleagues and practice mask-wearing and social distancing religiously.

It is impossible to be too cautious.
