She posted it 3 hours after the ACLU tweet, so hardly some huge delay nt Celerity Jul 2020 #22
But the ACLU tweet was way after the issue was brought up by Jerry Nadler. DenverJared Jul 2020 #23
Nadler's tweet was AFTER the ACLU tweet. Did you even look at the time stamps? Celerity Jul 2020 #25

...he still found the time to address this with his constituents before calling it a night.

The sign of a great Committee Chairman and Representative.

But in actuality I think it's great because I believe it's an important issue that everyone should be talking about.

Sorry if that disappoints you.

In fact, here are the overall ratings for Democratic members of the House in the NYC area for the current (2019-2020) session. Some surprises:

4 Maloney, Carolyn
10 Meng, Grace
12 Espaillat, Adriano
14 Velazquez, Nydia
31 Engel, Eliot
36 Nadler, Jerry
67 Jeffries, Hakeem
71 Meeks, Gregory
116 Lowey, Nita
126 Serrano, José
166 Suozzi, Thomas
169 Ocasio-Cortez, Alexandria
181 Rice, Kathleen
213 Rose, Max

That's the main ingredient for stagnation and/or moving backward. Fortunately, we have many MATURE and EXPERIENCED Democrats who understand what it takes to make progress by finding common-ground and showing a willingness to compromise. In politics, that's the way it is. Our WISE and PATIENT Democrats know how to "play the game." They are SMART enough to understand and appreciate the value of "incrementalism" and gradually but continually building on what we have... always moving closer to the ideal, and always improving the lives of others. There will be no instant solution with a so-called REVOLUTION, only compromise and hard work will get us there.

For obvious reasons, I chose to accentuate the POSITIVE in hopes of eliminating the NEGATIVE. (As the old song goes.)

ACLU tweet

Nadler tweet

This entire thing is just attempts to have a whack at a great Democrat and diminish her over the most trivial of pursuits, and is thoroughly transparent as well as silly.
