(13 posts)The only reason he finally, after 3 years, was willing to perform the ceremonial first pitch at an MLB baseball game was that the Covid-19 pandemic led to restrictions on not permitting a live audience at baseball games; and this guaranteed that no would be in the ballpark to Boo him. Yes, I agree that the 'risk' of the athletes kneeling during the national anthem, in his presence, is what drove his decision to cancel his plans to attend the game.
Tru*p will be the first resident of the White House since 1910 who will not have thrown out the first pitch at an MLB season opener, or at any regular season MLB baseball game, during his entire time in office. Let us work to deny him any more baseball seasons/years of opportunity to attend a game while the White House resident.
