Trumps were broke in 2015. Here's how I know.
I am President of a company that sells technology based services to businesses. in 2015 we were approached by a company called 21st Century TV to produce an infomercial. Common marketing strategy. Their claim to fame was that the host of the infomercial would be non-other than Donald J. Trump, Jr. They also would send on site a videographer that would do customer interviews.
We would then go to a professional studio for a day and shoot an in studio interview with a host. It would then be placed on Bloomberg and we would get the content to use in our promotions. Trump was to have been the host, but he canceled when the campaign started. We did it with another host.
The whole thing was less than 20k. The host not only has to be there for the half day shoot but prepare and practice questions. I can’t imagine it would be more than a $3K to $5K payday for Trump. OK if you are a B list talking head, but this the supposed son of a billionaire. ???.
