I'll admit it. I don't know how I should vote this November ( I know who..)

I normally like to vote early here in Florida in the weeks leading up to the election at the library closest to myself. It's a good mix of republican and democratic voters and I've never had any grief or long waits there.

Or

Should I get a mail in ballot and hope that those get counted correctly?

How are y'all voting this year? Not who are you voting for, but in which format, form, fashion......

1. Early voting at an odd hour. Mail lately in Chicago sucks. I don't know if I'd even get my ballot

if I requested one. Mail is only gonna get worse. In Chicago and in Illinois early voting AND vote by mail are being encouraged.

I will wear a mask and maybe a face shield when I vote.

The only way to ensure something gets to its destination in a timely fashion is Priority Mail.

My township in Michigan has a drop box for the clerks office. That’s what I used for the August 3rd primary ballot.

I like to go into city hall and hand it to the clerk.

But this year, I had to wear a mask. Then, a cop took my temp, gave me a questionnaire about fever, headaches, contacts with others, etc. Then I had to walk a taped path that was 6 feet from the line of people waiting to see the treasurer. Then stand three feet from the clerk's counter, slde the ballot through a slot in the clerk's newly-installed plexiglass protection.

I'll do the same for the general. I don't want to find out how difficult they've made it to vote in person.

I also know who I'm voting for in the presidential race. It's all those nonpartisan offices that take time to research.

3. Mail-in sounds good. FL is rife with Covid.

Read and reread the ballot.

Make sure you sign in the right place.

Double check everything, make a copy of your ballot, front and back

Leave nothing to chance.

To go to early voting.

Hate to be so morbid, but it’s the reality in Florida.

but my Sec of State has been pretty good on maintaining the election system here.

Can't speak for your state, though. I think I'd mask up and glove up and do it like you usually do.

Try to find a quiet time during the middle of the early voting period. Usually an initial rush and a final larger rush.

I am actually scheduled to be a Democratic Election Judge on election day. I will also be wearing my mask then.

I track my ballot on the elections website so I know it's received, logged and counted.

If you are not comfortable with that, I'd suggest early voting.

15. Likely vote by mail (no-excuse absentee), might drop ballot off. Not worried about mail being late

because I won't wait until last minute to request and submit completed ballot. A day or too delay in mail -- that folks are concerned about -- won't make a bit of difference unless voters wait until last minute.
