(14,565 posts)This is one of the worst Democratic ads I have seen this cycle because it is so reminiscent of typical Democratic ads...desperate to squeeze in everything.
The recent column on Lincoln Project was so terrific because it emphasized that the opposite style was effective, focusing on one or two key variables that leave lasting impact. With so few undecideds you need to grab them quickly and point to to a specific area, one they may not have considered. The totality obviously hasn't been enough. This Winslow ad is merely another totality vehicle. It looks like something Chuck Schumer would produce.
