Cold-blooded pieces of sh*t.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/it-s-bleak-trump-s-great-american-comeback-is-a-dumpster-fire/ar-BB179M9j?li=BBnbcA1&ocid=DELLDHP

The economic “revival” Trump had promised since April hasn’t happened, and many prominent Republicans and conservative lawmakers aren’t sure if boosting the president’s 2020 chances with another large injection of economic stimulus would even be worth it at this point, with just over three months to go until Election Day.

So the needs of the American people are less important than the election. SO, if the stimulus does not buy votes, then it's not worth doing.

Did I read that right?

Is that why lawmakers are taking an August recess without having ironed out a stimulus bill? Is that why REPUBLICAN lawmakers can't agree to implement a stimulus bill?

At this point, nobody would care if Trump signed the damned thing. The American people are financially struggling and need help. Stimulus checks, extended unemployment.

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?????

1. to the GOP, the most dreadful prospect is that poor people will somehow get a bit of extra $

They simply can't have that. It might take a bit away from the billionaires, who really need it!

Class war and oppression.
Can't let people have help because we won't roll over and accept less than what we have once we get a little more. Austerity is a weapon in the hands of rich and republican alike.
They've been giving less and less to us for decades and taking away benifiets even as worker productivity shot to all time highs.they kept us over a barrel on purpose.

For cheap labors sake

The rich deserve to lose everything.
They broke the social contract.

4. I think that McConnell has given up on Trump winning re-election.

Biden will face a massive job in trying to fix all the mess that Trump created. If Repubs retain control of the Senate, they will block every attempt to undo this damage and then blame the Democrats if things don't turn around. Then, they will fix their sights on winning the Presidency back in 2024. Meanwhile, they don't care about the poor and the working class because these people are not their donors or their base. McConnell is as evil as Trump, but for different reasons.

some of the damage has been done through executive orders. Those can be undone.

Every government department has to be gone through with a fine tooth comb to get rid of the trumpists. While putting legislation in place that can't be undone by an executive order.

Holding the House and taking the Senate is critical.

My greatest fear is that the past four/five years will be a *Trump Anomaly*.

It was there all along.

Started in the 60's.

We've seen the TRUE face of the GOP. It was there all along.

I'm 47.

For the rest of my life it's the Trump Party.

I want him hung around their necks for the next 40 years, a truth and reconciliation commission, and identification of enablers.

15. American people let sociopaths get to the top of the social heirarchy
Sat Jul 25, 2020, 04:09 PM

Dangerous sociopaths that don’t care about killing many people if it is in their interest.

At the top of the social heirarchy, they then go and promote ideas that popularize sociopathic thinking, like greed, selfishness, toxic masculine behavior, winning at all costs, etc... till it becomes part of the culture in this country.
