stop at? What disgusting tricks will they pull next? I suspect when Biden wins this Nov. 2020 elections, Prinz will need to start immediately laying off their thugs before long, as their business model will suck in the next several months and they will be examined for illegal orders from rump etc.

The money is already appropriated through the end of September, when the fiscal year ends. The House could drop funding for the DHS in the upcoming budget, but it still has to be approved by the Senate and signed by the President.

Also worth noting, the Federal Protective Service relies extensively on the use of private contractors, so these are not government employees.

In 2019 they had 13,000 private security contractors and only 1,109 FTE

See footnotes on page 29:

Not at all surprised these are part of Interior Minister Barr’s army .

Especially for security. Government buildings, military bases, and nuclear power plants all have civilian security contractors guarding them. Overall, I believe the number of contractors working for the Federal government exceeds that of actual Federal employees.

Since Prinz and blackwater worked for the govt in Afghanistan and Iraq I would guess it's them.

that they were contractors i.e. mercenaries or paramilitary.

It will be totally unsurprising if they're Prince's guys.

Well the thing many people remember from Iraq was the four burned corpses of contractors hung from that bridge, but the important thing to remember the reason they wound up there were some of their co-workers panicked and mowed down nearly 20 innocent Iraqis nearby. Do NOT scare these guys...
