Maybe The Rich Could Pay For Some Of This Instead Of Just Borrowing 10 Trillion Dollars

And making the people without armies of lobbyists pay it all back, along with their children, and grandchildren. Great grandchildren? Great Great Grandchildren? Great Great Great Grandchildren.

You get my drift.

I'm not sure what all that would entail, but maybe a stock transaction fee, restore the old progressive tax structure, raise the tax rate on investment income, tighten up corporate tax loopholes, restore the estate tax, & I'm sure there are more. We are very generous with rewarding the wealthy.

Including ruining this country and the people before they'd ever pay it back.

They see themselves through that disgusting lie called the divine right of kings.

It is a mindset they share, one that helps them perpetuate their power and justify their endless greed - and sleep at night I guess.

They've benefitted so much since the 80s it's the fair and right thing to do. Of course it won't happen until major changes are made in our system.

Why?

Because they took it/advantage in the first place/greed & they avoid taxes and hide their $!?!

Jeff Bezos is only one of many stupid rich milkers out there.

Cargills, Sacklers, etc etc.

Families so rich, they have to all be weirdos because of it, I know I would be by now.

Probably wondering wtf no one just takes it?

You expect people that gamed society to become rich in the first place are going to contribute to society and give some of it back? Would be nice! But good luck with that idea!

That the poor fools who believe that unmitigated wealth for certain individuals is the hallmark of being a great American and this concept is more important than hundreds of millions of people being able to elevate their lives with the money being hoarded wake up and realize that the rich have manipulated their thoughts and played them like Pavlov's dog.
