The genocide continues; Over one thousand Americans murdered yesterday.

This upward trend of deaths will probably continue through the month of August. I read or heard that the virus has hit one of the largest retirement communities in Florida, that is really bad news. If the virus spreads through the retirement communities in Florida, a lot of people are going to die.

I am happy to report that New York State is doing pretty good with its reopening. We still have some people who are not doing the right thing. Some young people are infecting each other at parties. Some small outbreaks from family gatherings. There was an outbreak at a nursing home. A few people were infected after traveling out of state. All in all we are doing well. The death rate is way down. I hope everyone keeps their guard up here in New York because this virus is in charge. It's not going anywhere. We can only do what the virus allows us to do. That's the bottom line.

As of yesterday, statewide we had a 7 day rolling average of 1.1% positive tests per day. I believe being under 1% is considered good. We are just above 1%. The break outs we are having seem to be coming from parties, family gatherings. A few restaurant workers have tested positive.

Places like barber shops opened up about a month ago and I have not heard of any outbreaks at barber shops , salons. Malls just opened up, will have to see what happens there.

I have hired contractors recently to replace some things in my home. They are following strict guidelines. Masks, temperature checks for the employees and they disinfect when they are done.
