Looks Like Trump Has Settled on "China Virus."

He's had several names for the virus, including "chinese virus," "plague," "the virus," and others. Now, though, it appears that he has decided to permanently name it "China Virus." He used that name several times yesterday in his poorly-attended press conference, where he read his prepared remarks in his usual flat, sing-song monotone.

Nancy Pelosi countered by calling it the "Trump Virus." I think her name for it is a better choice, at least here in the United States, the apparent epicenter for a virus that has been fairly well contained in China and many other countries.

1. Trump is preaching to his every shrinking base. He knows he's losing support, so he has to

use all his dog whistles in order to keep the most radical of the right wingers on his side.

2. The reason behind him doing this now

Because China refused to let him corrupt them into helping him manufacture false claims against Biden for his re-election. He's done this many times before, and used threats and lies, and bribes for helping his campaign, and they refused to help him, so like in business , he tries to hurt them any way he can. He cancelled the trade agreement to use to claim false things with , and again China refused to go along with trump. He planned to claim how great a deal he got , falsely. It's all smoke and mirrors from trump.

Which is quite accurate given that thing's inaction over the last 6 months.
