Snip

Dr. Moemeka says many of the babies were likely tested after an adult in the home tested positive. Several local hospitals in Dallas and Tarrant counties told NBC they are testing newborns if the mother tests positive for COVID.

.

The developing brains and organs of children are susceptible to damage, while their death rates are low.

This means that the younger folks face the strong possibility of suffering a lifetime of some impairment, that can also shorten their lifespan. While damage to older people's tissues can occur too, they generally do not require functioning organs for forty or more years, like children and young adults do. Younger developing brains and nervous systems are subject to greater alteration risks.

"This Covid, it is going away, eventually". Really? Ya think? It reminds me of a scene from Apocalypse Now when the Robert Duvall character says. "Someday, this war is going to end" about the Vietnam War.

Sending children , and teachers, and all of their families being possibly infected is another disaster in the making from trump. Just like his reopening states have been , and putting children's lives at at great risk for political reasons for trump. To add to that they refuse to pay for precautions needed. Many lawsuits for doing this will be coming soon for trump and those Governors doing this , hopefully civil lawsuits too. Criminal negligence when children become infected coming?
