Just.So.Done.

regardless that the state of things is so shitty and my hometown is being ravaged by tourists who are spreading this disease...and I fear for myself and my teens out there working with the "public"

My bathroom flooded and ruined my already nasty dog pee carpet, so I rippedout a 5x6 foot chunk down to the floorboards and am trying not to feel like I ruined my house

washing machine broke a few months ago so now all the nasty towels and such need to be taken to the laundromat

and I'm broke

dog needs dental surgery and has a growth in her mouth and we cant even set a date cuz I dont have the funds

been on & off disability for the past 2 years and I just cant seem to get my groove back

sat in the tub and cried for a half hour

I feel like everything is falling apart around me and I cant FIX it

feels like everything I touch is shit

maybe it would be fine of I got this damn virus and just checked the fuck OUT

It's going to work out. Try to let go of your worries for the rest of the night. Try listening to your favorite songs. Tomorrow? Focus only on the things you can control.

And I don’t have any answers. I hear you though. And I’m here to listen. It’s been a shit year.

Regarding your dog is there any group you can reach out to that might help with vet bills? I know in some places there are groups that help people with their furry family members.

We're in the last stretch and it is rougher by the day, but we have to be survivors. We are all victims of Trump and so are those interpellated tourists plaguing your area. Change will happen and relief, too. It won't be overnight, but it is approaching. People are stretched to their breaking point.
History is full of suffering and hardship. The sun will come up and we will see a new dawn.
Have hope and find some more of your grit. You've been hanging on and your dog loves you even though you can't afford a vet right now.
We will prevail.

Please hang in there. I have been in your position many times where I have felt that everything was crumbling down around me and nothing could get worse. It sounds trite, but the best thing you can do right now is to take care of YOURSELF and let everything else work itself out. Just do what you can right now to make yourself feel better. The problems will be there later when you feel better. Do what you need to do to soothe your soul.

I know you have to deal with the dog and the laundry, but sometimes I have found when I am at my lowest and I just let go and ask for help, amazing things can happen. Do what you can to feel better now and you will deal with the other things when you have more strength. You don't have to do it all alone. Reach out for help - family, friends, social services, etc.

I have always found that when I was at the end of my rope, it was because I was trying to solve all my problems alone from a very dark place. Is there a good friend or family member you can call? Do you have health insurance? Can you see a therapist or social worker? Any support is better than trying to figure it all out by yourself. I am a very independent person, so it's hard for me to reach out, but when I do, things always get better. I wish you the best of luck with everything.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.

Be proud of what you can do and try to avoid feeling overwhelmed.

Sorry about your situation, though! Hang in there!

I hope the IT Crowd helped. I always liked that show! One of my favorites from the UK.

When Jen was tricked into displaying "the internet" (a metal box with a blinking light) to business-people, and the prank backfired because the audience believed it too.

(Now I'm wondering what would happen if someone played the same prank on Trump?)

The scenes with Douglas in that episode cracked me up too.

Oh, and the episode when Roy pretended he was crippled at a theater! Jen turns around, and there's Maurice wearing a uniform for the theater!

And the dinner party episode with the "drunk wife" dinner-date for Maurice!

Lol! I might have to join you and watch some of those old episodes again! It's been awhile.

on at once. It sounds like you managed the bathroom flooding pretty well. Good idea to cut out the carpet. Not sure where you are but if there’s a Habitat for Humanity they may be able to help. They do small repairs around here.
