Where are the "states rights" conservatives?

Where are the "states rights" conservatives?

Where are the Republicans who screamed that Hillary would take away our FREEDOMS! if she was elected?

Where are the Second Amendment yahoos who promised they would defend the country against a takeover by the government?

What the hell is going on?

Maybe we don't need to listen to them anymore? Maybe the media can quit giving them a free run on their political programs?

The bigots had the exact same hypocrisy even back then.

The slave states touted "states' rights" when it served them, but they didn't want northern states to be allowed to provide refuge for escaped slaves. They wanted the federal government to force the free states to return slavers' "property".

Like the Nazis and their industrialist backers, they're really only concerned about socialists and not authoritarians.

They want authoritarian control for themselves, like one big tyrannical corporation that gives the orders and isn't subjected to votes from the peons working under them.

The South had no problems forcing the Fugitive Slave Act on the rest of the Union. It was always about slavery and white supremacism.

I suppose ICE and DHS and Border patrol are immune from it's protections.

But damn, this is the big Federal overstepping the Militia groups have been raving about for years.
