I have not really examined the issue. However inCosta Rica the Chinese are making in roads. They like China here. So when Pompeo suggests all nations pushback on China, hes not going to have results everywhere.

The European Union and many experts in foreign policy suggested this BEFORE the Tariff Wars that went nowhere and actually ended up with us worse off than where we started.
I wonder if Pompeo is talking about piracy and theft of intellectual property.
Now that we've burned our bridges with our allies and all but handed victory to China, I doubt this will elicit more than European eye-rolls.
