Contact tracing in action

Update: all are negative!

———
Just heard from my youngest. He has two roommates but they’ve been living out of town for the summer. He visited them this weekend (they’re all moving back in to their shared house this week) and one of them just got contacted that one of his recent contacts has turned up positive.

It was a less than 15-minute contact, outside and socially distanced, but even that contact qualifies all three of the roommates for testing. Since the local testing (in a town away from their house) has a long turnaround, they’re driving back to their house tomorrow and getting testing there as the turnaround is fast.

Glad his state seems to be handling contact tracing well.

It's good to know that contact tracing is being used and working in some areas.
