16. You aren't looking. Let's walk through my observations

Take it frame by frame.

1) He is wearing something under his sweatshirt and it bulges around his waist in a way body fat does not. It is not a beer belly, but is as bulky as a beer belly. It is most visible as he walks to the camera and it is clear there is something under his sweatshirt.

2) I'll grant you he is not wearing goggles, but he is wearing sunglasses, which offer some protection. Notice I said "probably" so you get half a point there.

3) The guy with the night stick take five whacks at him, three standing on our left, then two standing on our right. None of them seem to land.

Between the third whack on the left and the fourth from the right, it looks like the stick might be hitting his leg but that is the soldier moving behind the guy and not actually whacking. At no point do his pants rustle or shake any more than very minor movements.

4) His body shakes very little on impact if at all. If he were as heavy as he appears and hit in the belly, it would wobble like jelly.

5) Likewise it appears he is whacked or they attempt to whack him from behind as he is walking away. It doesn't knock him off his stride one bit.

6) Troops do give up.

7) I wrote it "looks kind of staged". Double qualified. I did not say it was staged. I said it was weird and I stand by that.

Finally, I cannot conclusively state exactly what is going on and I don't try to.

Followups are so often lacking. Thanking for taking to time to find one and bringing it to us.

There is no apology owing. There was no insult, intended or accidental.

In the absence of information, I did what everyone else did in this thread: speculate on the basis of a grainy low quality video.

Finally, I cannot conclusively state exactly what is going on and I don't try to.

At this point now that there is actual information, there is only respect, from me and everyone else. He has by personal injury shown just what kind of thugs the DHS is throwing at peaceful Americans.

It reminds me of John Lewis and his injuries, rest in peace.
