Woman Urinates On Floor After Refusing To Leave Verizon Store For Not Wearing Mask

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — We’ve seen a lot of confrontations involving masks, including verbal fights, physical altercations and even coughing fits. But this one might top it all when a regular day at work turned into quite a show at the Verizon store off Galleria Boulevard in Roseville.

In a 911 call, you hear a dispatch operator tell an officer three people are “refusing to leave, not wearing a mask… they’ve asked several times and she refuses.” About three minutes later the operator tells the officer, “They’re calling back and advising that that female is pulling down her pants and is now urinating inside the business.”

Roseville Police got to the scene and confirmed the incident to CBS13. Spokesperson Rob Baquera says officers arrested the woman after finding several stolen items from a nearby Dick’s Sporting Goods store in her vehicle.

Verizon spokesperson Heidi Flato says the company is requiring all customers to wear masks in their stores. Flato told CBS13 the incident wasn’t just about the company’s mask policy but wouldn’t comment further about what happened.

I was just at one for an “appointment” and while in line one of the employees brought me a disposable blue mask. Apparently this cake from the top and it’s “new”.

I had an appointment with my ophthalmologist last month and among the rules they sent beforehand, “no masks with air filters” (as well as no cloth masks) allowed. You were asked to stop at desk in medical building and take one of their blue surgical masks only. This is because masks with air filters do not offer protection to others.

This is pretty standard protocol, and CDC also warns against those type of masks.

I think we are seeing a big surge in untreated mental illness. I'm glad there is no video of this, because some of the videos I see people posting make me distinctly uncomfortable, since the people are obviously in mental distress, including PTSD. Obviously, not everyone, but enough that it bothers me. I don't know if people don't have as much access to treatment because of the economy or COVID, but I do think people seem unaware that the people in these incidents are not well.

Even if you think you have good health insurance don't ever bring a credit card to the hospital. Everyone thinks they have good health insurance until the really bad shit falls out of the sky. Anyone who doesn't support some kind of universal health care is an asshole, or some kind of moron who thinks bad stuff can't happen to them.

If I was emperor of the U.S.A. I'd nationalize the entire health care industry and throw a few very wealthy health industry executives in prison as well. They kill people. They are the "Death Panels."

Contrary to popular belief, the U.S.A. doesn't have the best health care in the world, not by any measure. Even very wealthy people can suffer crappy, inappropriate, health care. There are plenty of dead celebrities in the U.S.A. who'd still be alive if they'd sought help at a local free clinic under an assumed name.

My cell phone flips open like a Star Trek communicator and my prepaid balance has been increasing over the years as I top it up, working out to less than $10 a month. I do most of my business over an inexpensive DSL connection.
