Rep. John Lewis reading his own FBI file in 2015

Here's Lewis reading his own FBI file in 2015

Reading the FBI file on SCLC & myself, I am more convinced than ever that we cannot allow government surveillance.

THIS statement from that file written by a then 25 year old John Lewis about being assaulted by police while marching in Selma demands your attn. Especially today.

With 20+ more years of activism under my belt I wonder how many pages it runs now??

Proud of every damn page!

I am so upset about the Portland issue. If I could be there I would be.
