Is it time for Oregon law enforcement to surround buildings deploying federal goons?

I think it's time for the governor of Oregon to put a stop to this fascist display by Trump. He and his head DHS goon will not end this operation voluntarily. No.....they want to deploy to other US cities (probably all of which would be those governed by Democratic mayors and/or governors). Many see this DHS operation as a precursor to an attempt by Trump to disrupt, and call into question, the upcoming election. That's the reason this needs to be stopped ASAP! We need to fight unconstitutional federal fire with constitution-supporting local and state fire!

I think the governor should consider sending state and local law enforcement to surround the buildings from which the DHS thugs are deployed. I know that some would view this as a radical solution, but it's the only thing I can think of to put a stop to this budding fascism, which is the REAL radical solution being employed by Trump. Some would fear violence, but with cable news cameras recording everything that would be happening, there would not be any violence.....just a stalemate spectacle that would highlight Trump's fascist actions.

I suppose that there are other possible negative aspects to my proposal that I have overlooked, and some of those may in fact make my idea unfeasible. But I think most of us can agree that NOW is the time to put a spotlight on Trump's fascist actions!

is this what Trump is wanting to happen? Does he want some sort of confrontation that could lead to an even greater escalation?

to protect federal property and other interests. I've been wishing the police could arrest unidentified agents, but sad reality is that Oregon knows they're there legally.

This was all predictable and feared back in 2015.

Hopefully one of the lessons people are learning is to better recognize when they're being lied to and to get permanently angry at anyone who tries to trick them. Specifically starting with all those who told them there was no real difference between the conservative Republican and liberal Democratic parties and lead them to believe they had nothing good to vote for.

Anything federal. Remember the National Guard being sent to stop state governments from preventing the integration of schools in accordance with federal law?

Trump actually has power of horrifying level that he hasn't used yet. Decades of executive emergency powers degrees are still on the books. Courtesy of those who didn't "like" Hillary, Trump is the executive.

“I have the right to do a lot of things that people don’t even know about.” For once a great understatement from the Great Bloviator. Even congress doesn't know how extensive some are.

Sure, they have jurisdiction over Federal property, but they are working outside that jurisdiction when they are grabbing people off the street without probable cause to believe that person has committed a Federal crime. That's why protestors are being released and there is zero paperwork to even record that the person was detained or to identify which law enforcement was involved.

I'm very interested in seeing what information gets released due to the lawsuits being filed. I predict the Feds will refuse to release any information about the personal identity of these goons and any documentation about their supposed operations guidelines.

Guess we'll see.
