in the state and national parties. I have no idea if he felt trying to designate a successor himself was something he should do, but discussing keeping the seat blue certainly would have been.

even though she was considered to be among our best chances to get control of the senate.

So she disagrees. She's been working for election reform since the governor's race and perhaps she'll be appointed to a position related to that in a Biden administration. Perhaps executing the election reform legislation passed by a Democratic-controlled congress.
