But after what he's done with this pandemic, the effects will be felt, strongly, for years if not decades to come.
For many of us, we will die before ever getting to live normally again.
I thought I couldn't despise and hate him more deeply, but that realization has done it. There will be some relief when he finally leaves office, and while some of the damage he's done will eventually be reversed, much will not.
We had one brief window of opportunity to defeat this virus, and Donald slammed and nailed it shut. The consequences will haunt us on a daily basis for the rest of our lives.

(52,332 posts)at just about any point, we can go into a broad lockdown for about 7 weeks and bring things down to a manageable level that can be contained with proper hygiene, testing, contact tracing, and quarantining where indicated.
every day he chooses not to do this brings more pain and suffering and death to americans.
this is not just one mistake he made in february. this is a recurring, daily, deadly mistake.
actually, "mistake" isn't even the right word, as he's actively, deliberately hostile to the idea of treating this health matter properly.
