There has been talk of the Dems stacking the Supreme Court if they take the presidency & senate.
Was wondering why the Repugs aren't (haven't been) doing that now.

Plus, it reeks of political manipulation and it sets the stage for democrats doing it back when we can, which is now looking fairly likely.
Assuming we do it, they will accuse us of political manipulation anyway. And some will believe it. Especially if we overdo it. Two seats on the Supreme Court to offset the garland thing, e.g., can look reasonable as a remedy to a specific situation.
But stacking courts all over the place will be harder to sell, much as if love to see it.
