A book made me cry today.

I bought a copy of Pete Souza's Obama photos book and opened it right after getting home. What beautiful, moving photos. So much joy in so many of them. I guess that's what made me cry. There are sad photos that are very moving and serious photos, but it's the pictures with kids and ordinary people and his family and his dogs . . . I really, really miss the smiles and laughter. That book is priceless.

If I could steal someones talent and opportunity, he would be a high on my list.

He is a remarkable photographer who landed in the right spot at the right time to make the best use of his abilities.

Before corona virus, when I could have friends over, people would sit down and go through it page by page laughing and sharing their favorites.

Having grown up during and somewhat around the Kennedy's, I feel like Barack and Michelle and the kids were almost more ideal. Close call.
