Sessions’ downfall is a stark reminder to other republicans of what happens when you walk out too far on a limb for Trump. He will betray you.

Sessions was still missing Trump’s ass at every opportunity. Sessions was Trump’s first major endorsement; Sessions gave up his senate seat for a spot in Trump’s administration; Sessions proclaimed his unwavering support for Trump as Trump was bending him over for years. That culminated in Sessions’ staggering defeat today.

Look how many Trump administration officials have come into his crosshairs. The lesson here for Republican pols is to never, ever go out on a limb for Trump.

has never exhibited the respect for the law Sessions showed in recusal. Just the opposite. He's more like Trump in selfishness and greed.
