7. What good is a lawsuit when you have lost a child?

I agree with the poster above. There’s no way I would send a child of mine to school in the middle of a pandemic.

9. Agree. Vowing to sue others for harm to one's child would not

seem to be a responsible alternative to preventing that harm in the first place.

Danie, since you are clearly worried and feel strongly about exposing your child at school, perhaps you should be planning to stand strong on some alternative you believe will keep your child safe. Your district may be offering an on-line home alternative, as one of our kids' districts is, and it likely also already had a home schooling program you could sign up for.

these decisions for their kids right now. They're concerned for the teachers and staffs also, and both families volunteer at the schools as well, moms in the classrooms, one dad as a coach; but their decisions have to be about what they feel is best for their children. And other family. On top of the heavy decisions, if things get worse both districts might just shut down period.

3. That is why McConnel wants the liability clause in the new bill. Just exactly so you cannot

sue if your child gets ill or dies from going back to school. The GOP says the new stimulus bill will not pass without the liability for all hospital workers, business and schools. They want to force everyone back to work and school without any liability for doing so.

4. If my school had in person classes I would be sitting this semester out.

And I would be letting the administrators know exactly why. I would rather lose the semester than lose my life to COVID. It ain't worth it right now.

8. You have the option to Home School

Does your State have an on line learning option?

If you feel so strong about it, then don’t send your kids back. It’s your responsibility to choose what your kids education will look like.

11. Add Gov Murphy to the top of that list if you live in NJ- return to in person learning mandate
Tue Jul 14, 2020, 03:07 PM
Jul 2020

Shockingly, he is mandating in person learning starting on September 1. Following the T.rump train and putting teachers, kids, and our families at risk. Every duchess and death is on him. I am a teacher and have not even been asked if I plan on returning because we have no choice. 92% of my special ed students are returning without any way of controlling their body fluids, coughs, etc. He has not required masks of students, only staff. I am terrified and disgusted by his decision- it will cost lives

Are going to catch a fatal disease at school, I would be figuring out how to home school rather than making a list of who I will sue
