You heard it here first:

There is going to be a spike in cases in South Jersey and in the Delaware Valley, that is the five counties involved and including Philadelphia and I’m going to tell you why.

At the New Jersey shore for the past three weekends, I have witnessed dozens of get-togethers in my area near Atlantic City. Not a mask in sight at any of them. Our town, Ventnor, is a haven for those vacationing from the Philadelphia environs as well as various areas of New Jersey of course, and beyond.

The vast number of people whom I witnessed behaving in this fashion were individuals ranging in age from 15 to 40. The license plates on the cars demonstrated that many of them are from Pennsylvania, and thus I am waiting for the inevitable nightmare to begin again.

One a graduation party and the other a 1st birthday party. From the pictures I saw, there were more than 20 people with no social distancing whatsoever. The majority are trump stans and anti Whitmer. They would much rather have someone like DeSantis. We didn’t attend either one.

We don't deserve our own nation of laws. We are so busy looking for loopholes and reveling in our status as the greatest that our love of sport turned us against ourselves and destroyed our own status.

The spikes are gonna happen where these vacationers live. They'll be sick by the time they get home and they'll infect everybody around them.

Philadelphia and the Philly metro area are already hit bad, this will make it even worse.
We're dealing with it here in Pittsburgh too, but it's way worse in the southeast quadrant.

2-3 weeks after state opened for Memorial Day weekend, thus beach parties,
huge spike in numbers, and now another bigger spike from those numbers contaminating their friends and families.
My lil town which is far from the beaches had a spike too. Turns out there was a block party at the town square,in celebration of state ending stay at home rule.
the entire state is now setting and breaking record numbers every 24 hours.

Governor refuses to even order mask wearing.

Doctors are tearing their hair out...finally, as cases do exactly what we know they will do, over running medical services.

and now we find out there are still problems with the accuracy of the tests themselves,
plus a high rate of re-infections, because the antibodies from the first infection can actually disappear,
which reduces hope of a vaccine.

7. Immunity to Covid-19 could be lost in months, UK study suggests

This is coming after growing reports of people getting the virus more than once.

People who have recovered from Covid-19 may lose their immunity to the disease within months, according to research suggesting the virus could reinfect people year after year, like common colds.

In the first longitudinal study of its kind, scientists analysed the immune response of more than 90 patients and healthcare workers at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS foundation trust and found levels of antibodies that can destroy the virus peaked about three weeks after the onset of symptoms then swiftly declined.

Blood tests revealed that while 60% of people marshalled a “potent” antibody response at the height of their battle with the virus, only 17% retained the same potency three months later. Antibody levels fell as much as 23-fold over the period. In some cases, they became undetectable.
