17. I think he's just trying to get more mileage out of trump's "Russian" hoax angle.

It'll be in the news for weeks with the election coming up and trump in a weakened position. They see it as any positive red meat for their base will be good. They also remember that Mueller is not the sharp, old Mueller from before and want to take advantage of his slowed reactions, shakey speech and not-so-sharp recollections of what's in the Mueller report .

I hope Mueller's advisers tell him not to show. He doesn't have to. He performed his duty, delivered the report, watched it get undermined and now doesn't work for the treacherous Barr anymore. They can subpoena him all they want. He can just not show as all those repugs didn't show. What the hell can they do after they didn't do anything to their colleagues who didn't show up?
