Back in the 60's my sister, neighbor and I did the same thing, we were 10/11 at the time. However it wasn't lemonade, it was sea worms we dug at low tide. We spent summers on the cape. Lot's of fishermen. We had a cop stop at the stand one day asking if we had a permit. We said no and he said, okay I will take a dozen.
PS: those suckers are as ugly as hell and bite too. I am referring to the sea worms here.

Here's to 2 lovely girls (who are rocking those masks), their parents, and all the people who supported them. Makes me believe we will outlast the haters.

(2,750 posts)Back in the late 80's. We lived next to a golf course and would fish up the balls golfers would chunk into the ponds and creeks. We sold golf balls, lemonade and probably a few beers stashed in the bottom of a cooler. Thanks, dad We made a few bucks raiding your fridge.
Anyway, we were appreciated out there on the 9th hole. The balls were seemingly very much needed.
Happy for these entrepreneurs!
