While I think Mitt is an odd ball who would do anything to be president, he did vote to convict Trump.

How quickly could Trump be impeached and convicted if both sides came together? That could be quite the October surprise. Senate Republicans could do this as one last hail mary to keep the Senate. The could claim that they put country ahead of party...blah, blag, blah.

If no second term, then what will he do in the time he has? My thought was if the could somehow collaborate on a quick impeachment, we could resolve tha problem.

You would still see him being dragged from the White House. Just sooner.

Unprecedented and historic corruption has allowed our enemy to install the American president,
Donald Trump and to do so they had to have had help from inside America. And that help came
in the names of Fox News, Sean Hannity, Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell,
Congressmen McCarthy, and Scalise, Paul Manafort, Cambridge Analytica, Facebook & Mark Zucka-
turd, Devin Nunes, and all those senators who took NRA/Russian Money & visited Moscow for July
4, 2018.

Lock him up.

That paragraph is a quick walk down memory lane that connects the dots... and yet is just a tiny dip into the cesspool that putin/trump & repukes have created. There's a lot for Mitt to study!

when Trump's down for the count of 8. Romney and ALL of the other Republicans who supported Trump actively or by their silent acquiescence are in the same swamp Trump dug out and filled for them, and by their own choice. Romney can't talk his way out of the muck he's been enabling since Trump won the RNC nomination -- remember his dinner with the capo di tutti capi when he thought he might get a plum job in the new administration?

but not all of it. There is no way he could have been surprised by Trump's criminality in office. It was all very clear even before he won the nomination what kind of diseased politics he'd bring to the Oval Office. So voting for one of the articles of impeachment doesn't wash his hands clean, not by a long shot. Sad to say, with all that said, Romney was the only sitting Republican to show even a quark's worth of integrity and patriotism in all of this. All of the remaining sitting Federal Republican elected officials and most of those in the various states supported and lavished praise on Trump and deserve the scorn and contempt of all Americans today and forever.
