Cohen and Manafort

How would you feel this morning if you were Michael Cohen or Paul Manafort?

Those two suckers were convicted and went to jail for their crimes and their buddy Trump did nothing for them. They kept their mouths shut (as much as possible) yet Trump did nothing for them.

Meanwhile, Trump commuted the sentence given to Roger Stone. The two suckers stood silently and took their punishments probably assuming that Trump would step in and pardon them. But he didn't do that and the two suckers are still convicted criminals under house arrest. Their lives are ruined. Stone walks free.

If I were Cohen or Manafort, today would be the day I'd call a press conference and spill all the beans on Trump.

Reportedly, Trump is unhappy that Cohen is writing a book.

Good. I'll buy your book, Michael. No one can stop you, just ask Mary Trump.

Cohen’s not.

When Manafort was sentenced, the Mueller investigation was still ongoing.

Otherwise he would have done for him what he did for Stone.

But definitely not for Cohen.

Working for brutal dictators and having all sorts of ill gotten earnings.

His own daughter had disowned him.

He never had a good reputation to begin with.

On the way out the door, Trump will pardon all of those who he feels have been loyal to him. Don't expect any "come to Jesus" confessions from the pair until Jan.

Trump may be the first president to effectively use the power of the pardon as extortion.

The concept of the unitary executive needs to be drowned in a bathtub once and for all.

The president's powers need to be redefined although that would probably require a Constitutional Amendment.

This shit show can never be allowed to happen again or our country will fail.
