The President has board authority to pardon or commutative any person charged with a Federal Crime.

No prohibition in the Constitution on the President’s power to pardon. The framers likely considered that would be in the area of a high crime or misdemeanor. While they were brilliant framers, they didn’t couldn’t have anticipated an entire party going along with that level of corruption.

We’re all screwed.

His Iran Contra pardons were self serving.

Clinton's library received a large infusion of cash from Marc Rich.

Plenty of examples of campaign contributors and supporters also receiving pardons (Armand Hammer).
