Genocide, corruption, bounties on our soldiers, blacks being murdered by cops, criminals being set free by Trump, economic destruction, immigrants brutalized, farmers losing everything, committing suicide, this is not sustainable. Something is going to give. I don't know what's going to happen but I don't see how this can continue without some type of revolt by the American people.
Trump never stops committing crimes. His corruption is endless. Maybe we will get to November without something happening, but Trump is making that difficult. He is attacking and killing too many Americans. He is putting our country and our lives in too much danger.

We are nothing to them, NOTHING, time to change the tide. To them we are paralyzed and that's how they want it, paralyzed and scared. Right from the Putin handbook.

(26,045 posts)Seriously, hoping for a (successful) revolt is an exercise in madness. We were able to get hundreds of thousands out (for a time) for protest marches, but anyone who thinks that anywhere near that many would go the extra million steps to start trying to overthrow the government is only fooling themselves. Likely, only a small percentage of those who turned out for the George Floyd demonstrations would be willing to use force in an attempt to overthrown the current regime...and, if they tried it, they'd be easily crushed by the police and military, if the semiautomatic-toting MAGAts didn't do it first.
Like it or not, our only way out of this is by voting.
