The arrogance, stupidity of people could turn this pandemic into another 1918 event.

This virus, this pandemic has just started. Many people don't get that. Many people believe it will not affect them. Many believe there will be a cure soon, a vaccine. That may not happen. No one knows what this virus is going to do in the future. Many are listening to asshole leaders.

The countries with asshole leaders are leading the way with the most cases. They are spreading it around the world.

I guess I should not be surprised. History is full of examples of the human race destroying themselves.

There is no doubt in my mind that we are headed to a complete train wreck.

Thanks to these fuckwads, instead of a three year probability of the endurance of the virus, we're now looking at a good five years, minimum.

But, this will facilitate an entire revamping of how we go forward for at least the next decade, if we have that long before we have other threads to survival compound the problem.

Punctuated equilibrium.

if we had merely done what the rest of the world did, on average, we'd have only about 17,000 deaths:

Wait until September through December particuarly if school is started as usual. Historically the second wave is worse than the first. Have fun with that MAGA,ts.
