....they and their family are own their own. It's the politics of abortion that the GOP loves NOT the life they claim to save.

Here is what I see.
Abortion is a political tool for them. Abortion, the 2nd Amendment, and God. Look what happens to the newborn the moment it's born.

It's born into a world where the republican party does everything they can do to deny services to the newborn and the mother.
They cut medical, food, and educational benefit
---- they give unneeded tax breaks to the richest 0.01%.
---- they spend billions to build weapons systems the military doesn't want or need.
---- they cut SNAP funding
---- they defund public education to shift that money to religious schools.
---- they refuse to raise minimum wages to a LIVING wage of at least $15.00/hour
---- they fail to support childcare programs so parents could work making a living wage.
---- they build expensive private prisons to house individuals that they have failed from the moment they take their first breath.

And the list goes on and on UNTIL that moment 18 years later when the (once 'newborn') becomes fit to hold a weapon and fight.

Then they become a political asset again.

THEN they are the MILITARY we love to brag about and support.

Until they get their DD214 and find out that the promises made are not always kept by the underfunded veteran's benefits. And they now become a dispensible liability.

And all of this goes on year after year false promises after false promise UNTIL at one point we end up with a tre45onus president supported by gutless GOP who would allow hundreds of thousands of Americans (once 'newborns') to go unprotected and contract Covid-19

All because of inadequate preventative programs. And of those hundreds of thousands who get Covid-19, tens of thousands will die because the tre45ous president and his GOP supporters are willing to let him play golf, tweet threats, and listen to faux entertainment to get a new set of lies and conspiracy theories to spread.

Then if that is not enough outrage then to let those once 'newborns' become targets for bounties for our enemies to kill and collect money from our tre45ronus president's puppet-master Putin.

But with the November election coming up. Guess what? Comes back?

And in addition they are anti abortion because they want women to be punished for having sex. They want to control women, keep them in their place. They dislike smart or ambitious women. Or single women without children who devote their lives to a career.

They have no real interest in anti-choice initiatives as a moral or ethical issue. It's all about bamboozling the evangelicals and conservative Christians into THINKING that they have a safe place with the GOP. But the party has no interest in any of it, except for the votes that they can garner if they faked it. And they ARE faking it.

11. That's always been true of the anti-abortion movement.

If you drill down far enough you'll discover the crux of it is a belief that all women are sluts at heart and mustn't be allowed to have sex unless it's for the purpose of producing a man's child, which is what women were created for. Of course, men also want to have sex without consequence but that's what prostitutes and mistresses are for, and it's OK to feel contempt for them because they're sex-wanting women who aren't having babies. The fetuses are secondary, though; once they're born they are no longer important or worthy of care and protection. It's all about controlling women.
