So of course, he sees war and peace as a dichotomy. We're not in a shooting war against Russia, so we must be at peace. We could be best friends if not for those dirty Democrats.
We're not at peace with Russia and Russia has no desire to be at peace with us. They hack our infrastructure. We slap them with sanctions. They financially support a third party that is in open war with us. We've done the same as well.
This is what countries that are not at peace normally do to each other.
But this idea is so inconceivable to Trump, I bet he just blanked out though when told about it. He simply does not have the gears in his head to spin to even understand nuance.
This black and white thinking has been couched as "not being politically correct", this is where it has brought us.
