The Lincoln Project people. They just get up in the morning and do stuff. DNC need to do that.Attack

"Yes," Carville said. "I think there is a better chance that Donald Trump does not run for re-election than he's re-elected. There's no chance he's going to be re-elected. And if you just take the events of the last ten days, all right, obviously he has no control over the virus. He has no control over the tensions in the streets. He doesn't even have control over a North Carolina Republican congressional district. It's just nothing.

Williams tried to make an issue of Biden's gaffes, and Carville rightly brushed it off.

"That's not going to do any good. That's not part of my persona. It's evident to everybody what is going to happen. and part of Democratic coaches, well, look what happened. You're right, I'm a big admirer of these never-Trumpers, the Lincoln Project people. They just get up in the morning and do stuff. Get off the conference call and do something. These guys don't do conference calls. They're out there attacking."

Dems talk about wonky, hard to understand policy, while Repubs (esp. the Lincoln Project) attack with digestible, close-to-home tRump failures. We have a long way to go and we can learn a lot from them....

10. I have friends who STILL don't get that ....

That the party of putin (Formerly the gop), and tRump don't CARE if they DIE, DIE, DIE because they want the ACA done away with. That they'll ask for help from FOREIGN countries to win elections. That they'll cheat and keep us from voting if they have to. Just so long as they WIN another presidency.

One friend said she'd rather not be like thuglicans because she has her own ethics/standards to live by. I said hon, if you and hubby LOSE your health care you won't have any life to live your lofty standards by. You know hubby is a not a 1 or 2 time nut a 3-time cancer survivor and you're battling your type 2 diabetes--Hell if the party of putin gets their way, if both or one of you gets sick again, you're done for because they don't give one fuck if you have treatment, meds or health care. She said, I hear you but I'm not going to go back on my standards of being human being. I told her that tRump is in court NOW trying to get rid of the ACA. She said I know, but I refuse to lower myself to their level. Yeah, she said that. So she'd I guess be okay with her/hubby dying, because she's standing up for her principals of being a run for the party of putin/tRump to walk all over 🙄

Lord Jesus, I've had to let go of at least 10 dear friends' friendships who don't get that the party of putin, tRump don't give ONE FUCK if they DIE nor recieve any medical attention/care EVER. They want them to just DIE and get out of their way is what the parry of putin is saying to the American people.

5. I agree....Dems need to talk about what people want fixed that Donald is ignoring. Be the adult

...in the room. I think you can talk leadership in times of crisis, justice, fixing inequality, opportunity and with almost zero effort say "unlike Donald Trump". Going down the road of Donnie being infirm and so on only opens Biden up for his all too frequent gaffes and "senior moments". I never wanted to see a 70 something Dem get the nomination for exactly this reason but here we are. Let's hope Biden and the DNC can play it smart.

Remember, a big difference is they don't have to try to govern after this is over.

There is more to winning 2020 than just bashing R's, we have to be more than just the anti-them. But in the bashing R's department - have at guys, you're doing such splendid stuff.

If you can tie bad policy to Trump then your ad will work. But just talking about policy will fall flat. You wasted your money.

Every single reply to that post except yours totally missed the point, IMO.

When someone attacks you, you look weak if you don't attack them back. If you look weak, you lose, period. The Never Trumpers understand that, we don't. A good campaign does both attack and policy, as the Bill Clinton and the Barack Obama campaigns demonstrated.

Tell you what you do, go find the Dem ads then come back and publish them here.

I'll start.

Republicans attacking a Republican is going to reach more people than if Democrats do it. While Lincoln Project and Republican Voters Against Trump hit him over the air, DNC needs to invest heavily in getting people out to vote.

No sense in duplicating the same work and spending the same dollar twice.
