I suspect trump is holding that hostage unless he gets his cut from this next stimulus bill, then he'll lie again while claiming he was for it . Just like with the Ukraine situation, I suspect he's demanding something for himself before he'll sign anything going to the American people, and will demand it be a lot less than what the Democrats have proposed, while more gets funneled into his pockets.

There are those pundits, I think Carville said it recently, who believe spring is the time when opinions are formed in the public's mind. In 2016 Trump used those months to sew doubt about HRC.
