About that noose found in Bubba Wallace's garage

On Don Lemon - He just showed it. Its a damn noose. Not just a rope. A damn noose.
Spokesperson from Nascar - Pull rope was on some of the the other garages, but Bubba's was the only one tied in a noose. WTF?

Is it possible that some idiot tied up a noose in the past out of hatred? Yes, but the noose had been there a year and doesn't appear specifically aimed at Watson.

6. Why does it look brand new then? I have a friend that works

in the pits...his very first comment was that if it had been there for any length of time, it certainly would have not been that clean or looking brand new...It's a Nascar white wash of a story of a 'hate crime'

5. Right. The first photos I saw may have been a different door.

Because it looked like a Bowline knot. Which is quick and easy to tie and is the knot I would tie to pull down a garage door. Of course it was a blurry photo.

But the very clear photo of his door was clearly a hangman’s noose. Which besides being not quick to tie in the South means only one thing.

I would like to know when garage slots are allocated. If that was known that this would be the Petty Racing Garage last year then this was planned.

Nooses hang out at garages...it happens....it’s a common knot folks tie for gates, garage doors and what not....

8. Uhm I don't know what is going on here. But its too much of a coincidence that

the only pull rope fashioned into a noose was found in the black guy's stall.Mmmkay.

In fact, NASCAR president Steve Phelps said Thursday his organization thoroughly searched all 29 NASCAR tracks -- which includes 1,684 garage stalls -- and only ONE of the ropes was fashioned into a noose: "the one discovered Sunday in the No. 43 [Bubba Wallace] garage stall."

Phelps added, “As you can see from the photo, the noose was real, as was our concern for Bubba."
