South LA Family Shares Pain, Warning After 20 Family Members Test Positive

Richard says his father, Vidal, kept up family spirits even when quarantined with COVID-19. The father and son were isolated together inside a bedroom. But by day no. 8, Richard says both were barely hanging on.

"My last words to my dad was, 'Dad, I don’t think I’m going to make it,'" Richard says. "Maybe, my dad was like 'Hey, if you’re going, I’m going too.' That breaks my heart."

Both father and son had health conditions.

Vidal passed away at the hospital a day before Father's Day.

It's sad that it comes down to someone dying to get some to believe the virus is real—and to believe scientists, health officials, doctors, leaders that you should be wearing a mask.

I saw a lady in Texas on a YouTube video acting smug for about 20 minutes, talking about how "I'm not wearing a mask!" And she had it 100% wrong: she said if you want to protect yourself, fine, wear a mask. She doesn't understand it's done to protect OTHERS. Well, her ignorance and selfishness is now etched on the internet for her grandchildren to see.
