The Chinese factory video has been out there, the subject of this August 24 op-ed: Op-Ed: Did Mitt Romney profit from Chinese slave labor?
<...>
Now, at this point, there is a heated discussion online about this video which I suspect we will be hearing a great deal more about in the days to come. We're not sure at this point whether or not this was the factory that Bain purchased, discussed in this Mother Jones story.

From the Mother Jones story:
<...>
On April 17, 1998, Brookside Capital Partners Fund, a Bain Capital affiliate, filed a report with the Securities and Exchange Commission noting that it had acquired 6.13 percent of Hong Kong-based Global-Tech Appliances, which manufactured household appliances in a production facility in the industrial city of Dongguan, China. That August, according to another SEC filing, Brookside upped its interest in Global-Tech to 10.3 percent. Both SEC filings identified Romney as the person in control of this investment: "Mr. W. Mitt Romney is the sole shareholder, sole director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Brookside Inc. and thus is the controlling person of Brookside Inc." Each of these documents was signed by Domenic Ferrante, a managing director of Brookside and Bain.

Need more information to connect the dots.
Thing is, given the current comments, there is no doubt Mitt was relaying a story about the value of hard work. Sure he emphasized how good Americans have it, but while he described the deplorable working conditions, he seemed to be lauding the work ethic of the people subjected to these conditions. They are lining up for the jobs! Some of the girls saved!
Holy shit: Mitt Romney admits using Chinese slave labor @ Bain.

(17,651 posts)1. Yep, noticed that one right away. Amazing how this stuff keeps dripping like a diseased dingaling.
Mitt's going down. We just have to keep on top of all his miss steps and counter them asap.
Of course, keep an eye out on voter suppression and election fraud.
