Of course, if you consider that we all pay taxes and many medical schools and universities are public institutions, our tax dollars helped train doctors, so, in fact, we should be entitled to some basic medical treatment and maybe even experimental treatments if the studies are one with public dollars.

Of course, they'd see that as socialism. And they also would rather pay no taxes than publicly fund research and development. What a great world that would be.
