48, 49, ... uh, 48

In the video, in detailing how Obama has a large guaranteed base vote, Romney says:

"The president starts out with 48%, 49%, ..uh ...48%" of the vote.

I think some piece of brain kicked in just in time to stop him from telling a roomful of donors that he thinks Obama starts out with 50% of the vote.

is a great way to get those donors in the audience to kick in big bucks for voter suppression, voter misinformation ads, intimidation at the polls, and other enlightened techniques.
