malaise

The more you think about it the more you realize the level of arrogance required to expect people

to expose themselves to a virus that has killed over 120,000 people while signing away their right to sue you for liability.
That is why this flopped big time - that and the fact that the rallies are old and boring - Don the Con is a washed up loser. People know that he called the virus a hoax and they know who is stoking the racism fires.

More ridicule awaits.

I doubt Biden, Clinton, Carter or Obama would subject their voters to such a thing for a political bump. They actually care for the country and its people. It is obvious to anyone paying attention Trump doesn't give a rip for them, only their vote.

But as usual this will fly right over the head of those rubes.

As long as they are doing better than the "other" its cool sailing.

That might be one aspect of the mind of a Trump voter? Wealth is another, and they are the only people voting in their own interest.

of his supporters. He basically want them to come watch him while signing away their right to seek redress for any wrong done to them.

Maybe, in the glumy light of dawn, the fact that they are nothing more than a vote to him has dawned on them.

The optics never quite go away. That walk of shame with his hair falling apart and his tie untied and his pout just kind of cloys at your brain.

He should have followed his strict habit of looking like a strong man, never giving in to the press seeing him down.

Why, it’s like the world saw him naked, like that emperor fella.

Expect outragous stunts to follow. He thinks in terms of tv "wrestling" -- the good guy has to get hit with a folding chair before rebounding to beat down the bad guy. Naturally, the narcissist casts himself as the good guy.

This monster is not done yet and we need to increase the ridicule.

worst experience while in the White House. Nearly 200,000 people dead from pandemic mismanagement: no biggie. Quarter full arena: disaster. Whether reality struck the cult and they didn't show up (I'm not convinced) or teenagers sabotaged the event (more likely IMO), it was a thing of beauty to see the fool slog back to his bunker with MAGA hat crumpled in his hand looking like he'd just come off a 10 day bender.

no matter when you applied for a ticket, it was yours. It definitely skewed Brad's massive data haul, but only 6200 people wanted to see that shit show. BTW, Tulsa is very close for people in Kansas, OKC, Arkansas, Dallas, Missouri; all a hotbed of racism and stupidity.

So, no; that's how many people he was able to draw from a pool of millions.

Parscale will probably be canned because somebody announced that 6 of their palm greasers and schmoozers tested positive that morning. I'm sure that discouraged locals who otherwise would have gone.

He was low energy and so was the crowd and I'm sure this is going to affect future turnout. That doesn't mean they're not still out there, they are. They'd just rather watch it on TV than put out the effort to go, not unless he can show he's back to his old hate mongering self. Hate never seems to get old.

Some of his cultists are showing signs of waking up, but not enough for that result.

I feel confident that the TilTol Teens were a major factor too. Full disclosure here: Wonkette doesn't think so, but I haven't read the piece yet on why not.

But I do think, whatever the causes were, there were many of them.
