Ramsey County corrections officers of color say they were barred from guarding Derek Chauvin

when Chauvin arrived, all officers of color were ordered to a different floor.

There is no possible justification for this kind of racial discrimination at the Ramsey County jail. None whatsoever. Any explanation would involve a judgment that black corrections officers could not fairly treat Chauvin. I don't know how they're going to explain the decision they made, but someone needs to make them try to explain it.
