Chicago fantasy

Rahm is 16 months into a 4-year term as mayor of Chicago. I lived there in '79 when Michael Bilandic served one term and 4 years later Jane Byrne was booted out as well after tangling with the firefighters' union. Rahm is looking increasingly bad hour by hour and I'd like to see him given the boot, too. But not after a 4-year term. In a special RECALL! That's my fantasy.

are in bed with business to gut public schools and make the Bain moves to privatize and capitalize on education. If Rahm could unceremoniously be shown the door for being on the wrong side of the strike, perhaps this whole education-for-fun-and-profit could unravel and we could focus on what is really needed for kids to be successful. It sure as hell ain't testing.
