Trump Rally Fizzles as Crowd Size Falls Short of Campaign's Expectations

Mr. Trump’s attempt to revive his re-election bid sputtered badly as he traveled to Tulsa for his first mass rally in months but found a small crowd and delivered a disjointed speech.

The weakness of Mr. Trump’s drawing power and political skills, in a state that voted for him overwhelmingly and in a format that he favors, raised new questions about his electoral prospects for a second term at a time when his poll numbers were already falling. And rather than speak to the wide cross-section of Americans who say they are concerned about police violence and systemic racism, he continued to use racist language, describing the coronavirus as “Kung Flu.”

While the president’s campaign had claimed that more than a million people had sought tickets for the rally, the 19,000-seat BOK Center was at least one-third empty during the rally. A second, outdoor venue was so sparsely attended that he and Vice President Mike Pence both canceled appearances there.

Nothing to stroke his ego this week. I wonder what will be the fall-out consequences for our nation as he lashes out?

Of people holding up their tickets they ordered with no intent of going just to mess with the trump campaign

So we know at least a large number did this.

How many out of the supposed 1,000,000 ticket requests?

Who knows the percentage 🤷🏻?♂️

But apparently it went viral on K-pop sites and they went crazy with it. Reserved hundreds of thousands of them.

Apparently these K-pop folks are a major force on social media and when they rally they can even shut down sites with too many posts.

I mean, I’m a 50 something Southern white guy who loves Korean restaurants which always have K-pop playing so I know what it is. But who knew they had such a presence. Read on another post they quickly raise 1 million for BLM.

Been reading up on them for the last hour or so. I got to say, don’t mess with them on social media. They grew up with it.

Trump’s supporters may be evil, but they are not (mostly) stupid. The smart ones don’t want to contract COVID-19. They didn’t want to be packed into a 19,000 seat germ factory. They stayed home.

I pity the ones who actually showed up. They are the poorest, most ignorant, most deluded, most vulnerable, and the most dangerous people among us. Bless their little hearts.

I can easily make fun of folly, but in my truest sense, hope that our country comes around and figures this out.

I have hope in our country!

It's going to be ugly.

I can't wait for the Sunday papers and talk shows. He's going to blow a gasket. He can cry "Fake News" all he wants, but there are some things that are just too obvious to ignore.

What can he say? His base dissed him. He is alone and ashamed. I expect him to stay in the bunker and lick his wounds.

There is about a 50/50 chance. Either he will be so demoralized he will stay isolated and lick his wounds (while he devises some way to get revenge on everyone who he thinks has betrayed him) or he will lash out like a mad-man, desperately trying to spin the events of the last few days to make himself look good. Either way, he's going to lose.

He's just a pathetic old man who is about to lose everything and who doesn't realize that he has only himself to blame. I don't think he is quite aware yet that he is the person that is bringing himself down more than anybody else.

He’s not wired that way. Whatever happens, it’s somebody else’s fault, but he will be plotting revenge, and he will seek to destroy whomever he decides to blame for today’s travesty. He’s embarrassed. He’s ashamed. These are feelings that he can not tolerate, and someone is going to have to PAY for making him feel this way.

Just a textbook Cluster B personality disorder.
